Andreu World at Design Shanghai 2020



Andreu World has introduced in Design Shanghai 2020 some of its new designs that combine sustainability, innovation, ergonomics, and technical expertise for indoor and outdoor use with a Mediterranean aesthetics, that comes from the origins of the brand, 65 years ago.



Nuez by Patricia Urquiola


Nuez is a technological and innovative seat created by the designer Patricia Urquiola. Its enveloping and high-tech shell is created from the idea of a sheet of paper that folds and is produced with 100% recyclable and 100% recycled content Pure Eco thermopolymer and FSC ® certified wood, which guarantees its 100% responsible wood source and complies with the Chain-of-Custody, from the tree to the final product.

The Dado modular sofa collection expands its configuration possibilities through new modular curved elements - open or closed at 45 degrees; corners-, ottomans - with or without wheels, curved or straight - chaise longue and also with a forward curved backrest that defines a more upright sitting. The geometry of the new components extends the possibilities of configuration: back to back, curved compositions; islands of seats for large public spaces or long lines capable of organizing the circulation of people and offering a moment of rest.

Status is a program of meeting tables with a technological appeal that is characterized by its flexibility and adaptability of its functional base and great variety of tops. The design starts from an iconic and sculptural central base, which generates a volumetric presence and gives it a differentiated design through a neutral aesthetic with rounded and soft lines that stand out for its architectural gesture. Status is a table of apparent simplicity that hides a complex technical and technological development, in which engineering and beauty come together.
