Andreu World wins 9 design awards at NeoCon Chicago

Andreu World has received 9 design awards at NeoCon 2021, one of the North American workspace furniture trade shows. In its 52nd edition, more than 50,000 design professionals and 500 exhibitors have gathered at the Merchandise Mart, where Andreu World has its permanent showroom.


In total, the new collections of seats and tables presented at the event have won 7 Best of NeoCon awards, 1 Interior Design HiP award and 1 MetropolisLikes, for their sustainability, design and innovation.


Of the seven Best of NeoCon awards obtained by Andreu World, three of them have been awards for sustainability and innovation, two have received the highest recognition in their category “Gold Award” and another two have received two “Silver Awards”.


The Forest Club collection, designed by Philippe Starck, has received a special Sustainability award for its innovative and environmentally friendly design, manufactured for the circular economy, with a minimal carbon footprint and created so that all components are easily separable and recyclable at the end of its useful life.

Nuez Lounge BIO® received the Gold Award in the seating: sofas and lounge category and also a sustainability award. This chair in an iconic piece in our collection. The 100% Biodegradable and circular lounge chair is certainly breaking the mold in terms of how furniture and be created and sustained without damaging the environment.

The Adela came away with a silver award in the Seating: sofas and lounge category and also a sustainability award. This collection, made of plywood with a 2D design that is pushing the boundries of wood curving to make it appear almost 3D is already a classic.

The Liceo won a silver award in the guest seating category. This classic chair is both contemporary and timeless. Its curved wooden frame and upholstered seating is eye catching for its innovative shape and contemporary feel

The Capri Executive scooped a gold award om the guest seating category, this executive version encompasses everything this type of chair should be: solid, ergonomic, flexible without compromising on style. The result is this elegant and timeless classic in the making.

The modular, flexible and cool Giro sofa has been recognized by the HIP awards. The giro is a new concept in sofas, with a sled base that gives the appearance of floating, the endless combinations mean you really can make this piece your own.

The connect table has been recognized by Metropolis Magazine. Word is spreading about this multipurpose flexible table. Its highly flexible in that it can be configured in multiple ways, offers an intelligent cabling system with a tabletop that flips down making it easy to store and stack. It’s no surprise it’s a winner!
