In 2020 the Andreu World International Design Contest celebrates its 20th anniversary, within the framework of the Madrid Design Festival, with an exhibition at the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) that will open on February 13th and promoting this meeting together with Cosentino, Roca, Signes and the Loewe Foundation to speak of their respective competitions and awards, share opinions and look to the future by sending a joint message of support to all who begin in the exercise of their profession.
The International Design Competition organized by Andreu World was born to be one of those showcases. It is convened annually since 2001, which surely makes it one of the oldest, and is unique in its specialty, the design of seats and tables. The figures accumulated in the editions to date are spectacular, with tens of thousands of participants from more than a hundred countries.
