5 Year Warranty 

The Andreu World products are guaranteed against material and manufacturing defects for 5 years from the invoice date. 
For custom productions requested by customers, whether it be modifications or new models, as well as pieces with natural wicker and the collections that make up our exterior catalog, the warranty will be two years. 
This guarantee does not include defects for misuse, accidents, neglect, and damages during transport, abuse, or aging and normal wear and tear.  This warranty does not extend to fabrics, leathers, covers and materials, not included for non-Andreu World products, property of the client or purchased by Andreu World by request of the client. 
The correct product selection for each application is the responsibility of the buyer.  This represents the complete and only warranty and supersedes all the possible guarantees of any kind either implicitly or explicitly, including but not limited to compliance with Law 23/2003 dated July 10, 2003.
Repair, replacement or discount on the total price prorated constitute full responsibility of Andreu World and the only possible solution to the buyer.  Andreu World assumes no responsibility for commercial losses, any consequence of damage that may result from any product defect, failure or delay.  It is understood that these limited solutions and responsibility are part of the terms and conditions of purchase of the Andreu World products, and when an order is processed the terms, conditions and limitations are accepted.  

 

Quality Testing

To guarantee the maximum quality and safety, we ensure that our products, raw materials and other purchased components meet the highest standards and official certifications. For this reason the Andreu World chairs and tables are tested for quality and durability.  Our testing methods are supervised and evaluated by independent international institutions.  

In this regard, it is important that all of our products are certified under the highest international regulatory requirements for durability:
Standard UNE EN 16136: 2013 Level 2.  100% of our chair models are certified in accordance with all sections of this standard, guaranteeing achievement of the highest design of product quality.  Level 2 of this standard is intended for seating heavy use spaces. 
ANSI/BIFMA c5.1: 2011.  100% of our products are certified in accordance with all parts of this standard ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards.  This standard was developed by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association’s (BIFMA) Engineering Committee and is updated every five years in accordance with the standards established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).  ANSI’s purpose is to provide manufacturers, specifers and users a common approach for assessing safety, durability and structural integrity of the furniture.  
UNE EN 15372: 2008.  All of our tables comply with this standard which specify the requirements for safety, strength, and durability for all non-domestic use tables. 
As part of our commitment to quality and durability guarantee, Andreu World conducts testing of its machinery certified in order to ensure the compliance under both standards.

 

 

Flame resistant treatments
Fire prevention is one of the most important requirements in the manufacturing of furniture.  To manufacturer products that minimum the risk of fire is one of the maxims that we apply to all of our products using verified materials certified to be flame resistant. 

 

Flexible polyurethane foams and foam injected Andreu World collections are certified according to the following standards:

•    FMVSS Federal Motor Vehicle Safety STD 302.
•    California Technical Bulletin 117.
•    Italian UNI 9175 M1
•    B.S. 5852: Part 2 Crib V.
•    CS/FAR 25.853.
•    French Arrêté du 28 Août 1991 M-4.
•    Airbus Industries Technical Specification, ATS-1000.001.


The thermo-polymer material Andreu World collections are certified according to the following regulations:

Standard UNE EN 1021 -1: 2006. Furniture. Assessment of the ignitability of upholstered furniture. Part 1: Ignition source smoldering cigarette.
Standard UNE EN 1021 -2: 2006. Furniture. Assessment of the ignitability of upholstered furniture.
