The XVII edition of the Andreu World International Design Contest will feature a panel of prestigious professionals linked to the world of design. The industrial designer Alfredo Häberli, architect Benedetta Tagliabue, Robert Thiemann editor-in-chief of FRAME magazine, art critic Maria de Corral, and journalist Alvaro Castro will be in charge of deciding who will be the winners of this year’s competition.
Design projects for this year’s edition may be submitted until November 24th. The contest is open to both students and design professionals, regardless of age, with the objective of designing a seat or table. A new feature this year will be the evaluation of a creative video explaining the project and/or demonstrating the details and mock-up of the design. The jury will award a first prize of EUR 3,000 and a second prize of EUR 1,000. Likewise, up to four honorable mentions will be presented to the best creations.
