Tao, a powerful sign

Lievore Altherr Molina

All furniture ends up forming part of a specific context, of an architecture, in function of which it plays a different role. It may be integrated or emphasized, but we always perceive it as a whole. That’s why architecture is a fundamental and constant benchmark for us.

We collaborate closely with architects and interior designers because they help us to discover new areas in which to integrate our products and they open our eyes to new customization possibilities for each project.

We have collaborated with prestigious architects like Norman Foster, Toyo Ito, I.M. Pei, David Chipperfield, Patxi Mangado, Rafael Moneo and Frank Gehry... in projects developed in more than 65 countries.

Tao is a powerful sign, capable of becoming the reference point within a space. Tao is sculptural and abstract; it offers a unique form that combines sobriety and singularity.

The base of Tao is made in solid oak and the top, which is available in five different sizes, is oak veneer. The different finishes permit various possibilities for personalization.
