Precision is synonymous with quality, and that’s why we refine each of our processes to the maximum, from the origin of the materials to the production and manufacturing system of every single item. We organize the production and logistical processes through a rigorous quality control system, developed over the course of 60 years, which permits us to offer a five-year quality guarantee on all our products.
The wood, the essential material in all our production, comes from our forests, controlled through a custody protocol that includes planting, logging and drying. The drying process takes more than a year following the logging – to prevent the wood from breaking in the future – and in all the handling phases. The process is certified by the FSC® Certification (Forest Stewardship Council) which guarantees wood originating from replanted and controlled forests.
The production of RDL reflects Andreu World’s precision in working with wood. Each process for this piece requires absolute control from the very beginning.
RDL is made exclusively from solid beech wood with a fine curved oak laminate. An archetype of the universal concept of the chair, refined to the maximum. This chair synthesizes the virtues of all chairs, it is an expression of its form.
RDL is radical and graphic. This great synthesis can only be developed through meticulous attention to the details that carries them to the point of perfection. Its extreme appearance ultimately offers a serene and peaceful gesture.
The RDL family is made up of lounge chairs with and without arms, benches, side chairs, armchairs and bar stools with and without backrests.
