Andreu World meets Boston

Andreu World’s Boston showroom is located at 35 Channel Center Street; a 180-year-old brick mill building in the city’s rapidly expanding Fort Point district.   The generously sized showroom allows for five unique zones to showcase everything from lounge chairs and sofas to conference and occasional tables created by international designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Jasper Morrison, Lievore Altherr Molina, and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.

In addition, the space will showcase over a hundred different Andreu World chairs and barstools in an effort to cater to Boston’s architectural and design community. Finally, a selection of outdoor furniture completes the space.

The space is properly representative of Boston’s storied history with brick walls and original sliding barn fire doors, while also integrating 21st century design through re-imagined plywood columns and modern finishes. It is owned by the family of the late Ben and Jane Thomson, who among their many accomplishments, founded Design Research which is widely credited as the brain trust that brought modern living to American homes.  Some of their original artifacts, such as the iconic DR neon sign still reside in the shared lobby.

The Boston showroom celebrates the spirit of Andreu World and transmits the values of innovation and technology, excellence in the woodworking  and the maximum respect of the company towards the environment. This space joins the permanent showrooms in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C, and reinforces the presence of the brand and the brand's products in the US market.
