The jury for the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2017 has made its decision. In a process spanning several days, the 24 experts assessed communication and creative works from agencies, designers and companies from 50 participating countries. Andreu World has cause for celebration: The jurors awarded the Red Dot to Stories brochure and thus emphasised its high design quality and creative achievement.
Stories 1 and 2 are two graphic documents that wish to go one step beyond our products and, through them, speak about the culture, the architecture and the design with which we identify.
With Stories we want to express through a selection of our designs, the values that we have been building for more than 60 years in a stimulating and fresh way while serving as a source of inspiration. These pages aim to demonstrate the love of wood, detail, work well done, and at the same the design united with technical progress, innovation and ultimately our relationship with the world around us.
Each Stories contains twelve stories that try to publicize the industrial culture and the nature of Andreu World manufacturing as well as our relationship with architects and interior designers that on a daily basis inspire and enrich us.
Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award: “I am delighted that companies from all over the world have once again used the Red Dot Award: Communication Design as an evaluation platform. It is important to subject one’s own achievements to scrutiny again and again in order to constantly improve and maximise the potential for success. I congratulate the Red Dot winners on the high design quality of their work. The award testifies to the fact that they are pursuing the right design strategy”.
