Coinciding with Paris Design Week, the space will open its doors in September. The new Andreu World space in Paris aims to become a point of reference for interior design and furniture design for workspaces, contract, outdoor and home in the capital of France. Located in the heart of the City of Lights, a few meters from the Arc de Triomphe and the renowned Peninsula Hotel, the Paris showroom will be an open and dynamic space articulated through different areas that include a range of products from seats, armchairs and sofas to meeting and occasional tables created by international designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Alfredo Häberli, Jasper Morrison, Lievore Altherr Molina and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.
Divided into two floors, the concept of the new showroom uses the trademarks that identify the Andreu World brand, with a continuous presence of natural wood throughout the space, a material that perfectly expresses the characteristics of Andreu World’s seats and tables, a balance between the timeless, the elegant and the contemporary.
The wood provides warmth and nobility, but also freshness and naturalness. The space opens to the outside thanks to large windows that give a continuity between the exterior and the interior, integrating urban life and the Andreu World collections. Using natural wood as a common language and nexus, an essential element of the space for its material aspect and its reminiscence to the origins of the firm, the new showroom will host a selection of designs seeking greater versatility and new aesthetic, functional and innovative possibilities in the utilization of new materials and uses adapted to new work environments, corporate and public, but at the same time suitable for residential and commercial spaces.
Coinciding with the opening of the showroom, Patricia Urquiola will present on Wednesday, September 11th, her new designs created for Andreu World. We look forward to meeting you at 37 Rue Jean Giraudoux. 75116 Paris.
This space joins the permanent showrooms that the brand has in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Washington, D.C., Denver, London, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow, Pune, Bangalore, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Stockholm and Copenhagen and store spaces in Sydney, Toronto and Vancouver, among others.
