Following the "Salone" of Milan and NeoCon in Chicago, the new 2017 collections will arrive to New York. Andreu World will take advantage of the "First Look" event, which annually brings together a selection of designers and architects to launch in its showroom of the New York Design Center.
The space at Andreu World (suite 1111) will house the latest collections of chairs and tables designed by Patricia Urquiola, Piergiorgio Cazzaniga and Lievore Altherr Molina and a selection of designs awarded with HiP Awards or Best of NeoCon.
New designs come to life in each scene, resulting in solutions targeted for new workspaces and collaboration areas without neglecting their adaptability to other applications such as public spaces, hospitality, residential and outdoor environments.
The starting point for the new 2017 designs is Nuez Chair, a chair designed by Patricia Urquiola, suggestive and warm but at the same time high-tech, evoking the folds of a sheet of paper. The reinterpretation of the Couvé armchair as well as the new versions of Alya - by Lievore Altherr Molina - also respond to this intention. The use of cantiléver base has also been incorporated into the Flex and Flex High Back collections, ideal for corporate uses and as a confidante. The Duos collections - from Jasper Morrison - or Lake -Piergiorgio Cazzanga - will also travel to New York to show the combination between of woodworking associated with innovation in materials and technologies. The new series of conference, meeting and occasional tables, now available in innovative and sturdy materials, complete the "premiere" of design that Andreu World will offer this year.
The First Look ™ event will take place on July 19th. More than 30 showrooms and nearly 300 products will be presented for the first time to the design professionals, architects and professionals of the art and decoration companies established in New York.
