With the grand opening of the New Delhi showroom, Andreu World has taken an important step in positioning the brand in the Indian market. The capital city showroom is Andreu World’s second space in India, following the 2014 opening of the Pune showroom.
In order to grow in the Indian market it was necessary to find spacious and versatile workspace. The new space will offer architects and designers a large exhibition and workspace showcasing a wide range of products for many applications.
The new space will open on February 12th and coincides will India Design 2016. An event is organized by the magazine Elle Décor India of which Andreu World is an advertising partner.
The space, situated in a wide loft, is located in the heart of the capital in the Okhla Industrial area. Inside a selection of Andreu World brand products are exhibited along with the collections of international designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Lievore Altherr Molina, Jasper Morrison and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.
The interior design of the exhibition space is designed so that visitors can encounter any solution or furniture need. Distinct zones have been defined for lounge, meeting spaces and facilities. These areas are composed of a selection of sofas, armchairs, chairs and multipurpose tables for use in workspaces, residential spaces, facilities, hotels, restaurants and outdoor applications.
Among the seating displayed are the newest Andreu World collections such as the Flex Chair series designed by Piergiorgo Cazzaniga and recipient of a Red Dot Award and Best of NeoCon Gold Award. Also a selection of upholstered and wood chairs, armchairs and lounge chairs from the Ronda, Lineal, Sail, Carola, Smile, Pillow and Manila collections are on display. A luxurious feel was created for the lounge zone with the use of Alya armchairs and Raglan sofas, both Best of NeoCon Award winners, upholstered in a warm selection of textiles and leathers. This presentation offers solutions for dining rooms, seating areas, office lobbies, hotels and public spaces.
Also for the first time in India the Reverse Conference table will be exhibited. This program of meeting tables brings elegance and high functionality to the office environment through the combination of different options and materials.
Low and occasional tables, such as the Dual and Raglan collections, incorporate innovative designs that play with the use of different table top materials such as marble, solid surface and natural wood, all combine harmoniously to offer a wide and attractive range of auxiliary furnishings.
The showroom will also feature an Outdoor area comprised of the Sand family of sofas, complementary tables and the Trenza chairs, all designed by Lievore Altherr Molina.
